PTA – (Parent-Teacher Association)
We support local elementary school PTAs by donating haircuts for fundraising activities and appearing at school events. More importantly, joining together with networks of parents, teachers and businesses committed to improving the lives of our nation's children.
The focus of encouragement here is that PTAs will continue towards their goals of securing a quality education and nurturing environment for every child. We realize the importance of continued support for local PTAs and their cause not only by our direct involvement but also as an encouragement to other local businesses to participate by our example.

Locks of Love –
KidSnips is one of the largest supporters of Locks of Love. Every year hundreds of our customers donate their freshly cut hair to help children with medical needs. You can do it, too! If you have ten inches of hair that you want to donate, make sure it is clean and tangle-free and we'll help you make a difference. We'll cut, package and send your hair to Locks of Love, all for free on weekdays! Plus, we'll style your hair how you want. It won't cost you a penny to help a needy child, however, gratuities are welcome.
Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to children suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis, custom sized to smaller heads. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. These prostheses provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.

CARE –
We provide financial support to CARE in their fight to end global poverty in more than 65 of the world's poorest countries.

Breast Cancer –
We actively support the National Breast Cancer Foundation in its fight against breast cancer by fitting pink hair extensions during National Breast Cancer Month as a fundraiser.
Toys for Tots -
We're a Toys for Tots drop-off center. Please bring in your new, unwrapped toys to KidSnips during November and early December and we'll help the Marines distribute them as Christmas presents to needy kids in our community.
